Why Sunrise Manor Homeowners Choose Toto Construction
Steel Horse Construction provides independent Sunrise Manor Toto service for fixture installation and repair, from Washlet seat diagnostics to full bathroom remodels built around Toto toilets and faucets. We’re not a Toto dealer and we don’t claim manufacturer authorization, but we’ve installed and serviced enough Drakes, Ultramax IIs, Washlets, and EcoPower faucets across the valley to know exactly what fails, why it fails, and whether a repair is worth your money. If you’re in Sunrise Manor and your Toto fixture is acting up, call (877) 265-5715 and we’ll tell you straight what you’re dealing with.

Sunrise Manor sits under Clark County code jurisdiction, not City of Las Vegas rules. That matters when Toto work ties into a larger remodel. We handle the permitting, the fixture, the plumbing, the tile, the whole scope. One contractor from rough-in to final trim.
Why Trust Steel Horse Construction for Your Toto Construction?
We’ve been inside enough Toto fixtures to tell you what the manufacturer’s manual won’t. The Drake’s flush tower gasket is a known wear item. The Washlet’s inlet filter clogs faster in Sunrise Manor than almost anywhere else in the country because our water is hard. The EcoPower turbine doesn’t fail from age, it fails from mineral crust. None of this is on the Toto website. It comes from pulling hundreds of these units apart in real homes.
Russ Dillard grew up in Sunrise Manor, not far from Toto service in Nellis Air Force Base. He learned the trade at College of Southern Nevada’s vocational program, then spent years on residential and commercial jobs across the valley before starting Steel Horse Construction. When we open up a Toto fixture, we know what we’re looking at because we’ve seen it before, often in a house three streets over. We build it like it’s our name on the wall, because it is.
We use genuine Toto OEM parts on anything that affects performance, longevity, or water use. Fill valves, flush towers, washlet control boards. Those get factory components. Seat hinges, supply lines, basic hardware. Those we may source from quality aftermarket suppliers if the spec holds up. You’ll always know which is going in and why.

Common Toto Construction Problems We Fix in Sunrise Manor
- Washlet seats that stop heating or spraying. The Toto Washlet line, including the C2 and K300 models, relies on an inlet water filter that clogs with mineral scale in Sunrise Manor’s hard water. Once the filter blocks, the heating element and pump work harder, and the control board eventually corrodes and fails. We replace the filter and the board when needed, and we show you how to flush the system monthly so it doesn’t happen again in six months.
- Drake and Ultramax II toilets that keep running. The Toto Drake two-piece and Ultramax II one-piece use a fill valve that’s sensitive to sediment in the water supply. Once grit builds up, the valve won’t shut off fully and the toilet runs constantly, wasting water and driving your bill up. We swap in a new OEM fill valve, clean the supply line, and the problem’s done.
- Flush tower gasket failure. Toto’s flush tower design is quieter than a flapper, but the gasket at the bottom of the tower degrades over time. When it fails, water seeps from the tank into the bowl continuously. You’ll hear it. The fix is a new OEM gasket, not a whole new toilet, unless the porcelain itself is cracked.
- EcoPower sensor faucets with no or intermittent flow. The Toto EcoPower line generates power from a small turbine in the water stream. In Sunrise Manor, mineral buildup jams that turbine, and the sensor stops triggering flow. Cleaning sometimes works, but if the turbine is crusted solid, we replace the cartridge. If the faucet is older and the replacement cost climbs, we’ll say so and price a replacement side by side.
- Washlet installs on existing toilets where the plumbing doesn’t match. Not every Sunrise Manor bathroom has a GFCI outlet near the toilet or a supply line that can branch to a Washlet. Part of our job is checking the electrical and water rough-in before we mount anything. Better to find that out before the seat is on the floor.
Toto Parts & Our Repair-vs-Replace Approach
We stock common Toto parts locally: fill valves, flush tower gaskets, washlet inlet filters, supply lines, and the hardware that fails most often in hard-water homes. That means we’re not waiting on a week-long parts delivery for a running Drake. For anything unusual, OEM parts arrive fast from our suppliers, and we’ll tell you the timeline before we start.
The repair-versus-replace call comes down to math, not opinion. When a Washlet control board, heating element, and filter all need replacement, you can be looking at $400 to $700 in parts plus labor. A new mid-tier Washlet seat runs $500 to $900 installed depending on features. A home in Sunrise Manor with a 1960s bathroom and original underslab plumbing might be better served putting that money toward a full bathroom remodel than patching a twenty-year-old fixture. We’ll give you both numbers and let you decide. Call (877) 265-5715 and we’ll walk through it.

AfterOur Toto Service Process – Step by Step
- 1
Diagnosis. We inspect the fixture, test the water pressure, check the supply lines and electrical, and identify what actually failed. On a Washlet that won’t spray, that means pulling the filter, checking the pump, and testing the control board with a meter. No guesses, no throwing parts at the problem.
- 2
Repair or install. We quote the fix before we touch a wrench. You approve the number, we do the work with OEM parts on critical components, and we keep the work area clean. Toto fixtures are precise; sloppy installs void performance.
- 3
Testing. We cycle the flush, run the washlet through all functions, check for leaks at every connection. In Sunrise Manor’s hard water, we also inspect the new filter under flow to confirm it’s seated correctly because a loose filter seal causes half the callback issues we see.
- 4
Warranty and follow-through. Our workmanship carries our backing, and we register the parts where manufacturer coverage applies. If something feels off after we leave, call us. We’re not walking away from a job that’s not right.
Toto Products We Service & Install in Sunrise Manor
We install and service Toto Drake two-piece toilets, Ultramax II one-piece toilets, and Washlet electronic bidet seats across the C2, K300, and S550 series in Toto in North Las Vegas and surrounding areas. We also handle Toto EcoPower sensor faucets in kitchens and baths. Beyond Toto fixtures, our scope includes full bathroom remodeling, walk-in shower installation, and vanity installation, so if your Toto fixture is going into a bigger project, we handle the whole room.
We Also Service These Brands
We work with KraftMaid and Wellborn cabinetry, Cambria and Silestone countertops, and Kohler, Moen, Delta, and Grohe fixtures alongside Toto. That matters when you’re remodeling: your toilet can be Toto and your faucet can be Grohe without two different contractors pointing at each other when something leaks.
FAQs – Toto Construction Service in Sunrise Manor
Yes. In Sunrise Manor, the two most common causes are a clogged inlet water filter and a control board that’s corroded from years of mineral exposure. We replace both with OEM parts, test the seat’s full function, and show you how to flush the filter monthly to prevent a recurrence. Call (877) 265-5715 for an exact diagnosis and quote, estimates are free.
Most Drake toilets that keep running in Sunrise Manor have a fill valve loaded with sediment that prevents it from shutting off fully. Less often, the flush tower gasket is worn and letting water seep from the tank into the bowl. We replace the failed part with an OEM component, and the fix usually takes under an hour.
It depends on what failed and the age of the faucet. If the turbine is simply clogged with mineral scale, a cleaning or cartridge replacement at $150 to $350 solves it. If the sensor assembly is failing too, you’re approaching the cost of a new faucet. We’ll give you both numbers on the spot so you can make an honest call. Call (877) 265-5715 and we’ll assess it.
Sunrise Manor and nearby Toto repair in Whitney face some of the hardest water in the Las Vegas Valley, and it shortens the life of every water-bearing component in a Toto fixture. Washlet filters clog, fill valves jam, flush tower gaskets harden, EcoPower turbines seize. Regular filter flushing and occasional descaling will extend the life of your fixtures, and we make that part of every install we do.
Yes, assuming there’s a GFCI outlet near the toilet and a supply line that can branch to the Washlet. Many Sunrise Manor homes built in the 1960s and 1970s don’t have an outlet in that spot, so we check the electrical rough-in before we mount anything. If you need an outlet added, we include that in the quote up front, no surprises after we start.
